This section of the forum is dedicated to discussions on rhinoplasty (cosmetic, reconstructive, and functional) nose surgery, also known as a “nose job”. Ethnic rhinoplasty topics can be addressed either here or in the Ethnic Cosmetic Surgery Forum.
It has been about 8 months since I had a rhinoplasty, and I am not exactly happy with how my nose looks. Here are pictures. My main concern is that my nose is too upturned. However I am not a surgeon, and before I consult with mine, I want like an external opinion. What do you think based on the pictures, and how could it possibly be improved?

hi, i understand your thoughts. male noses should be either slightly up or straight. however, it is hard to derotate (bring your nose) down perfectly without risking that it drop downward too far. that is my opinion, but talk with your surgeon to get his perspective. best, s.

Thanks for the quick response. Just so I'm clear with my surgeon, is the over rotation the only issue I should bring up to him? (based on the pictures)?
I honestly think your nose looks fine. I would not do anything personally and don't have any further suggestions. best, s.
