Silicone excision/lip reduction Help!

Postby cgrace18@msn.com » Mon Dec 26, 2011 10:39 pm

Hi Dr Lam,

I was hoping you could help me. I am 33 and had what I was told was a natural gel/oil injected into my upper lip about 10 years ago. I later found out it was a biopolymer (silicone) substance. My lip has completely changed through the years. I now have lumps bumps and most of it has migrated inside of my lip. I have had juvederm throughout to even them out but this has only made them bigger and most recently completely uneven. This has killed my self-eseem and I can completely relate to the woman in your video testimonials. I would love to have a social life again and like to look in the mirror. I live in New Jersey and was wodering if you would have to dissolve all the Juvederm first before proceeding with the reduction and if a normal looking lip is even realistic. I would love to fly out if I you could help me but am wondering if one procedure seems feasible. Also, I know it is difficult for you to assess but what is the typical range of cost for this type procedure and should I plan to stay a few days?

Best
Cristina

yes, i can help you. try to dissolve the juvederm out first before coming to see me. if not, i can do it but that would mean 2 separate flights as i would typically like at least a week if not longer after the dissolve to do it. cost wise, call my office 972-312-8188 or email info@lamfacialplastics.com. i cannot post prices here. you can fly out the same day if you give me enough time. speak with my staff about that. look forward to help you fix your situation.
best,
s.
