This section of the forum is dedicated to discussions on cosmetic and reconstructive otoplasty, or ear reshaping, for lop ear deformities, cup ear deformities, and other external ear shape disorders.
I just had otoplasty done on the 7th of November, 2011 so it's been a little over 2 weeks. My ears looked GREAT the first 3 or 4 days that I had the bandages off, but over the last week, it seams as if the right ear has almost gone back to the same protrusion, and sort of curved so now I have a bit of a "telephone" ear. Also, i feel as if he didnt do anything to my right earlobe but my left he pinned it back pretty far, so they are far from symetrical. The left ear looks good still, accept for the very top. It has curled over and also slightly resembles telephone ear. Please give me your opinion on this, and tell me how long I am going to have to wait to get this fixed (due to healing, scarring, etc.) Thank you!

i personally do not think your ears look that bad. there will always be a millimeter or several of inaccuracy and also ears can relax over time a bit. i personally would not redo it. otoplasties are precise but not as precise as you are asking for. s.
