Yesterday I had just a touchup of Restylane in my right tear trough done because it was a bit uneven with the left side. The PS who did this has treated me in the past and generally I've been happy with his work. This time however, he hit a blood vessel and within 1/2 hour of leaving his office, I had a good sized blood blister going. If it had stayed that size I wouldn't be writing to you, but now one day later and that blood blister has tripled in size and become a massive bruise. I literally look like those football players who swipe black stuff under their eyes.
It doesn't hurt, and I know it will--eventually--clear up on its own, but is there ANYTHING I can do to help get rid of this monstrous bruise on my face? Can a laser zap out some of the blood? Can anything help? Or do I just have to wait for nature to take its course? I am very concerned about this, as my job requires me to be in front of clients a lot and I do not want them to see me looking like this.
Thank you Dr. Lam!
