Botox to correct lopsided smile?

Postby j754312 » Sun Nov 13, 2011 3:50 pm

Hi Dr. Lam,

I am a 20 year old female, who has had a lopsided smile all my life. When I smile, the right side raises higher then the other, affecting all of my features on the right side of my face. I was curious if a small amount of Botox injected on the right side could bring about more balance to my face. I'm no looking for perfect symmetry, just a more balanced face :) If so, I was wondering how many units would be appropriate.

Thanks!

in short, no. the odds of worsening things are too high and it would be a waste of money to do that for the rest of your life. i have a crooked smile too, and i find it charming. lol.
