Hi Dr. Lam, I had a rhinoplasty in VN about 3 years ago when I wanted to make my nose a little bit higher. I have no idea what was used for the procedure beside that it was a pink, soft piece of stick that the Doctor carved and put on top of my nose. Unfortunately, the new nose is too high and it doesn't look natural for an Asian. Also, I can feel and move the stick inside my nose! Now, if I want to correct it, will the same problem occur? Will I be able to feel or move whatever that's put into my nose? Thanks Dr.!
i am almost definite that it was silicone. no, you should not feel the implant move, as i use gore-tex and affix to the periosteum lining. also, i do not put it all the way to the tip. i use cartilage there. you should have a much more natural result. best, sml
