Hi dr lam,

Firstly I am just on accutane at the moment very low dose and my dermatologist said it is okay for me to go on fillers. I waited for 6 months but I started getting acne again and hence, restarted accutane but on very low dose. Will it be okay if I do microdroplet silicone treatment?

Secondly As I am overseas, How does the treatment work? like do I have to repeat it many times or is it just a one off treatment?

yes, you can get micro droplet silicone on accutane. the treatment is done in a few minutes in the office, then you fly home. i would typically have to do it between 1 to 4 times to make the best difference. i would have to see you to decide how many rounds. the sessions can be spread out at least one month but certainly you can go longer than that since you are not in the U.S.
