Hi Dr. Lam and anybody else who's reading this. I'm here to adress my lips and how they make my self-esteem drop. About a year ago, I got bit by my friends' dog on the upper lip. I didnt have to go to the emergency room since her mom was a nurse and then she put this thing called an oxy floride or something. I'm not sure. But after a week it healed and I visited the doctor and he said to put mederma and I did. It got small but its still on my upper lip. And now, everytime I walk around people alway stare at me. So do you have any suggestions for me to get this scar to be not really noticeable? I heard using some kind of oil or cocoa butter works but I haven't tried it.but Thank you!

i would consider 5FU injections to bring the scar down but most likely a simple excision of the scar would be ideal. i personally would just cut the scar out and close it. that would most likely be your best bet to improve that bubble. best, sml
