AA what filler works best?

AA what filler works best?

Hello Dr. Lam,
I am a 44 year old AA woman considering a filler for slight () smile lines hardly there but I want to catch it before it becomes noticable. What is a good dermal filler for ethnic skin. I noticed that there are so many different types i.e. Juvaderm ultra and plus . Does plus mean strength and or longevity?

it does not really matter when it comes to ethnic skin. juvederm is very good. also restylane. personally i look at it as coke and pepsi. very similar. the ultra is softer and may not last as long as the ultra plus that is firmer and may last longer. hard to say how long for each 6 to 9 months but i would try them to see which would work better for you. cannot say that the ultra plus really would last that much longer. i prefer the ultra because it is softer feeling especially around the mouth.
