Upper lip lump after laceration

9 year old who sustained upper lip laceration3 days ago, developed an upper lip lump.
what is the best time for revision?

if it is only 3 days out, i assume it may go away. if it is still there after several weeks then you might consider it to be scar tissue which would benefit from a scar dissolver like 5-FU. if that fails then it might be a mucocele (but that should not have shown up 3 days after laceration and that also goes for scar tissue, both of which should show up later), then it might need excision. hard to say because i don't know what is going on only 3 days out from a laceration.
