the white pigmentation may not come back but the line and possibly the depression could improve over time. if not, then a scar revision removing the white tissue, lifting the depression, and irregularizing the line may be needed. i would wait at least 6 months and if you see nice improvement by 6 months you might want to wait a year. if you don't, then consider a scar revision in 6 months or later. best, sml
