Hi Dr. Lam. I just had a question about Silikon 1000 and what areas of the face it can be used. Do you treat hollow eyes/eyelid grooves with Silikon 1000 in your practice?? That is basically what I am dealing with and have been for some time now, however, I am not interested in getting a fat transfer to the face for that particular issue. Is it possible to use Silikon 1000 in that area of the face? Your reply would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
no, because with silicone must be injected in a micro technique causing crazy bruising multiple times to try to get a small result. not safe. if you want a permanent filler and you do not want or qualify for fat grafting then artefill is a good alternative. also, restylane around the eyes has tremendous longevity. for fat and fillers (except silicone) i use microcannulas, which are much safer and more effective around the eyes. best, sml
