Hello Dr. Lam,
I have a couple of quick questions regarding Artefill. First, does Artefill migrate at any time? Also, can I continue to use IPLs in the future? Once receiving Artefill, how does it appear in the skin as the skin continues to age over the years? For example, if one receives this filler at 47, what could be expected as far as appearance over the following 10 or more years?

NO, BECAUSE UNLIKE METACRIL WHICH IS IN SOUTH AMERICA, THE COLLAGEN THAT IS PART OF IT ALLOWS FOR TISSUE INGROWTH OVER TIME PREVENTING MIGRATION. Also, can I continue to use IPLs in the future? YES. Once receiving Artefill, how does it appear in the skin as the skin continues to age over the years? For example, if one receives this filler at 47, what could be expected as far as appearance over the following 10 or more years? IN GENERAL, IT SHOULD BE SAFE IF DONE BY AN EXPERIENCED INJECTOR IN A CONSERVATIVE AND APPROPRIATE FASHION.
