Hi Dr. Lam,
As a baby, I slept mostly on my back, which caused me to have a moderate case of adult plagiocephaly. There is no medial/lateral abnormality in the shape of my skull - only in the anterior/posterior, where the back of my head is very flat. I was always able to cover up this problem with my thick head of hair. However, in the past few years, I've began to bald, and I've lost a great deal of my original hair density. I really just want to shave my hair down so I don't have to worry about getting the "right" hair cut all the time, but it would expose my strange looking head.
I've read online that Dr. Eppley of Indiana has experimented with Kryptonite Bone Cement to correct mild or moderate cases of adult plagiocephaly. What are your thoughts about possible treatments for this problem, if there are any? Thanks.
