Can you tell me something about local anasthesia?

Can you tell me something about local anasthesia?

Hi

I would like to know that with local anaesthesia your not asleep or twilight sleep you are fully awake only a part of yours that need to be correct that is numbed.Your eyes are open,you can hear them etc....? Is this true?

under local anesthesia only your ears are numb. with iv sedation you are sleepy but not completely asleep. you can still hear and see during the sedation process. you are only sleepy for the first 5 to 10 minutes when the local anesthesia is being injected.

So you are not sleepy during the whole procedure just for first 5 - 10 minutes?

you are sleepy feeling but awake enough to converse after the first 5 to 10 minutes.
