Can i have otoplasty without iv sedation?

Can i have otoplasty without iv sedation?

Hi!

Can I have an otoplasty(ear pinning) without iv sedation,just local anaesthesia?

yes, it hurts more but if that is what you really want i would use a topical anesthetic and leave it on for an hour before i start to inject. however, i truly see no reason not to get some sedation so that the pain becomes zero.
