Is otoplasty(ear pinning) hard for adults?

Is otoplasty(ear pinning) hard for adults?

Hi
I just heard that ear pinning in children is easier than the adults because their cartilage is soft so they can correct it easily about adults their cartilage is strong so it is hard to correct it.How is this true?
