Artefill to fill hollow cheeks

Postby caubiki3 » Wed Mar 23, 2011 2:28 pm

Hi Dr. Lam,
I set an appointment to come see you during the month of May. I'm very excited about it. I do have a question. I'm 35 and my cheeks are starting to look sunken in. I'm very lean and athletic (former gymnast) and have very little body fat. Can artefill be used as a more permanent option than restylane/perlane for filling the cheek area if fat can't be used?
Btw, I saw you a little over a year ago. You used restylane/perlane to fill my entire face(under eyes, cheeks, chin) and was thrilled with the results. Absolutely no bruising and it looked amazing! It did last for a good 9 months, longer for under the eyes. I was just hoping for something a little more permanent for the cheek area.

i am more conservative in 35 year olds but yes that should be fine. you however need a skin test first. if you don't live in dallas, can you get that done first if you haven't already?
best,
