Question

This section of the forum is dedicated to discussions addressing linear scars, depressed scars, keloid scars, hypertrophic scars, and other facial reconstructive topics. (Of note, Dr. Lam no longer accepts medical insurance so he rarely manages cancer reconstruction or trauma anymore.)

Question

Postby DK0602 » Mon Mar 07, 2011 11:12 am

Dr. lam
I posted on here last year about having you look at some scars on my face. I had 3 chicken pox scars on my face on the left side. One by my eye one where my laugh line would be and a smaller one above my lip. I had them revised last year in July. The scar by my eye has healed the best and I can hardly see it. The one by my laugh line I think the dr basically changed it to blend with my laugh line..if I had any..haha, but the one buy my mouth is still bigger and the one bugging me the most at the moment. It's not a huge indention, but it is much bigger than before the smaller one was cut. I don't even see the stitch lines in it, just an indention. Honestly I wish the dr would have this one alone as now I have a bigger indention than before. :( So anyway....I plan on coming to see you sometime this summer to see if you can make it less noticeable. Does your office charge for a consultation?

yes, it is $100 but applied to any procedure you perform with me if the procedure is done within 6 months of the consultation. you might need some silicone drops to raise the depression to avoid a revision procedure. i would have to see you to determine your candidacy.
best,

Thanks! Is the silicone a permanent thing or is it something you have to keep getting? I look forward to meeting you! :)

permanent but it takes several rounds to get the results spread out at least a month apart.
