Lumpy forehead after fat grafting

This section of the forum is dedicated to discussions on various surgical techniques for facial rejuvenation, including fat transfer/fat grafting, browlift, blepharoplasty (cosmetic eyelid surgery), facelift, etc. Also, this category includes questions on hand rejuvenation via fat grafting. (Of note, Dr. Lam does not perform body rejuvenation except for hand fat grafting)

Lumpy forehead after fat grafting

Hi Dr. Lam! There are slightly irregular, vertical lumps on my forehead after second fat transfer procedure done 10 days ago. According to my doctor it'll eventually smooth out in time. Is this normal? Please advise. Thank you!

you have to ask your doctor that question. however, in general this is why i do not perform fat grafting in the forehead because the risk of lumpiness is very very high. since i do not perform fat grafting in the forehead, you have to trust him on this matter. sorry that i cannot help further.
