fat grafting around cheek implants

(Of note, Dr. Lam does not perform body rejuvenation except for hand fat grafting)

Dr. Lam,
Can you perform fat injections around cheek implants? Also if a temporary filler like restylane or juvederm is put in how long do you have to wait to perform fat injections?

yes, you can perform fat transfers around cheek implants. as far as injectable products it depends on how many vials were placed, when it was done, and how much you see that may be left. the fewer syringes placed longer time ago would be more ideal. if there is a question, you should consider a dissolve of the product a week before the fat graft.
