Fat Transfer Under Eyes

Postby cindy79 » Sat Feb 12, 2011 11:11 am

I have heard lately that fat transfer to upper cheeks and under eyes can create under eye wrinkles and actually make the area look older.

Have you heard of this and can you speak to this at all?

Thanks.

that is really complete nonsense. wrinkles are an issue from sun damage, aging, and smiling. botox manages the smiling wrinkles before they set in and become things that needs peels etc. to reverse. :)

ok, i guess i can understand that could be the case if too much was placed there and not enough under the eyes. i really have not seen that or at least have not had anyone complain of it. i think that fat grafting (done well) can be so magical in terms of total rejuvenation that tradeoffs in my opinion are pretty small.
best,
sml
