punch elevation

This section of the forum is dedicated to discussions on managing, treating, and correcting acne scarring. (Of note, Dr. Lam is focused principally on acne scarring rather than on managing the ongoing condition of acne, which a dermatologist would be better equipped to address.)

punch elevation

Postby havingfaith » Thu Feb 03, 2011 3:55 am

Dr. Lam,
I did a technique many years back for some acne scars called punch elevation where the skin is punched at allowed to float up to surrounding skin and a steri strip keeps it in place. Not many doctors perform this anymore and a crazy question. I noticed you also perform hair transplant and use a punch tool. Have you ever tried that on acne scars?

thanks
