Hi Dr. Lam,

I had botox for the first time 3 months ago to treat frown lines. 32 units were injected between the eyebrows, and another 8 were injected slightly above each eye brow. Now when I smile, I have prominent wrinkles underneath my eyes, where none existed before? I'm 34 years old, and I am absolutely positive these wrinkles didn't exist under my eyes before. The wrinkles between my eyebrows are already coming back. What could have gone wrong? Will these new under eye wrinkles go away?

hmmm, i do not have a clear idea. but i can say when botox is applied in one area you can start to recruit other muscles that may make those wrinkles look worse. those wrinkles should be temporary and should not continue, as the results of botox are jut temporary, especially if you just had one round.
