Dear Dr Lam.
2 weeks ago I had a mole removed from my cheek via the shave excision method. It was a slightly raised brown mole. The scab has now come off and there is some pigment remaining along with a scar. I feel very down about this as I'd rather have the mole than a flat mole and scar. What can I do to remove this pigment? Shall I go back to my dermatologist? If so what will he likely do? Shave it again or cut the mole out completely? I really don't want to leave it the way it is now as it looks worst than before. I had 2 moles removed from my face a few years ago and the results were amazing, sadly it hasn't been so good with this mole.
Many thanks for your time.
