Dear Dr. Lam,

I ask for your advice on what treatments are available for a woman in her twenties with an old (approximately 6 yrs) lip scar. The following attachments are pictures of the lip from multiple angles. I'm concerned with the following: 1) the thin line of tissue where the lip was cut, 2) the visible bulge of of the hardened tissue, 3) the overall unevenness of the upper lip. Your advice would be greatly appreciated.

this is not easy. when you have to do very fine corrections on lips sometimes you trade a scar for a scar and not make the situation better. given the fact i am having a hard time seeing the scar, i may not help you enough. of course, i would welcome to see you in person but most likely this could be a waste of your time as i will probably not improve matters. there is no easy solution. sorry.
