Hi Dr Lam,
I am male and previously had a liposuction to my trunk area. Fat was removed from around my abdomen and "lovehandles".
I now wish to have fat grafting to enhance my cheekbones.
However, I have heard that as a general rule liposuctioned areas cannot be used as a donor site. Not because of lack of fat (there is still some fat there), but rather because there is a lot of scar tissue in the fat. Is this correct? If so does that mean that fat grafting is pretty much out of the question for me?
Thanks,
Davey
