Fillers for the Glabella?

Postby smilebaby123 » Sun Dec 19, 2010 1:13 am

Hi there, I just got a nasal dorsum augmentation (w/ ear cartilage), but I see that the glabella/radix (area between the brows) is a bit too low. I think it should form a nice "T" shape, however, it is lacking that right now (it almost goes straight up into my forehead). Would fillers such as silicone microdroplets be good in my case? Or any other filler? Would it migrate? Form lumps?

I did get Evolence injected into that area before when I still had my silicone L-shaped implant in 1 year ago. But that has since been removed almost 3 weeks ago and replaced with cartilage. I remember that while the Evolence did make the area more pronounced, it felt lumpy. The Evolence should be all gone now.

Also, I thought injectable silicone was dangerous on the skin, can you discuss with me the complications and drawbacks of such a product? Thanks! :D

in your situation silicone sounds like a very good product to use in the right hands. i have never seen lumpiness if it is done right. the main drawback is that it takes a few rounds to do it, and it is permanent. to understand more about my opinions of silicone watch these 3 videos:
