Insurance Coverage question

Postby unknown10 » Sun Nov 28, 2010 11:09 am

I have broken my nose twice in the past 3 years. Both were severe breaks causing me to have to get completely knocked out each time for surgery. Since my last break I have had breathing problems through my nose. Making me have to use strips on my nose for athletics and to sleep so I can breath though my nose. I went to my family doctor and he took x rays and showed me that I have a deviated septum and inflamed nasal walls( I don't remember the exact term for inflamed nasal walls). How ever he gave me medicine to decrease my inflamed nasal walls. But they are not working.
He said to fix the deviated septum that they would have to break my nose again and that is the last thing I want because it will only make it bigger. I currently have a lumped nose and I would like to fix it however I was wondering if you could fix my deviated septum then give me a "nose job" and fix the lump in my nose under insurance so I won't have to pay out of pocket.
