LAM FACIAL PLASTICS

I am part Asian. I had breast augmentation last year. I had under the crease incision. I have been left with unsightly hypertrophic scarring. The scars are very dark reddish/brown and are raised. I am miserable. I am researching scar revision. Dr. Lam, do you have experience with ethnic skin scar revision? If so, what is the typical procedure? yes, i have a lot of experience with ethnic scar revision. however, i make it a point only to perform that on the face. somethings that i have heard work is use of ACE inhibitors like topical captopril or oral enalopril but you have to ask a doctor to make sure you are safe to take them because your blood pressure would drop with at least the oral version. typically KTP or PDL lasers can help too as well as possibly 5-FU injections. as far as surgical correction, you have to ask a body plastic surgeon what to do since i don't do body treatments. hope that helps as a start.
