Dr. Lam,
Have you had success doing laser skin resurfacing for acne scars (namely deep acne "ice-pick" scars) from patients that don't have fair skin? My skin and complexion almost looks like the actor Edward James Olmos. I'm worried that after laser skin resurfacing treatments that the pigmentation will be a lighter color than the untreated part of my skin. Is this true?

hi,
yes, i do CROSS treatments for improvements with 100% acid. sounds dangerous but i am very good with that in skin types up through and including hispanics. just did that this morning on a darker complected peruvian man. however, i do not do that in light skinned or dark skinned African or Indian individuals.
