skin after fat injections

When you have fat transfer done to augment cheek area is there anything that you have noticed to the topology of the skin. IF the skin is lax or is there is some atrophy does it plump it up or stretch the skin? Basically what happens to the surface of the skin when fat is injecting underneath?

the argument is that the skin starts to look better due to stem cell changes. i do not know if that exactly happens or not. however, i believe the skin looks better due to better light reflecting on the skin. watch this video:
