Hello Dr. Lam,

I saw you this summer and had silicone injections for moderate acne scarring. I had previously had the smartxide dot co2 laser done a year ago and my question is, I paid for 2 treatments up front and they just called me to see if I was going to do the second. It's been a year since the first one and I had you do silicone this summer. Would you recommend/avoid a laser treatment after silicone treatment( potential hazards of heating the silicone, flashing, etc.)? I don't think a second laser will help much more with the scarring, but maybe some remaining pigmentation probs and texture. Anyway, the reason I'm asking is because I already paid for the laser last yr, but I'll take the loss if you advise against it. Plus, I plan on doing a round or two more of silicone with you in a couple of months.
