Caring for scars?

This section of the forum is dedicated to discussions addressing linear scars, depressed scars, keloid scars, hypertrophic scars, and other facial reconstructive topics. (Of note, Dr. Lam no longer accepts medical insurance so he rarely manages cancer reconstruction or trauma anymore.)

Caring for scars?

Postby DK0602 » Fri Sep 24, 2010 7:43 am

Dr. Lam what do you recommend to put on scars that have been revised? My Dr. told me that Merderma has not been proven to work and he said to put some Vitamin E cream. I've also heard that some put Bio-Oil. Is there anything that really helps or is it better to just leave them alone?
