hey there, firstly, thanks for providing such a comrephensive and interactive forum on cosmetic enhancement. Your prompt and detailed answers show a caringness and knowledge that is unrivaled in any surgeon I have encountered.
Now enough with the ass kissing, I am a 25yr old female, who, through horrible weight fluctuations and poor sleeping habits, wreaved havoc on my face, resulting in severe sunken volume, a flatter and wider face that has lost its "arcs". My questions are will fillers give me the same "look" as fat, as I am afraid of committing financially and psycologically to something so permanent. Is there a filler or technique that "pulls and "lifts" the skin away to create more of a swept back, 3 dimmensional look in my cheeks rather than just filling it forward out so to speak? Can u inject filler in the forehead/eyebrow area to help lift, fill that area. I have tried botox but i found it didnt help with the flatness, droopiness s of my forehead, it gave me more of a paralyzed severe look. Finally, have u heard of the nefertiti botox lift and the botox facelift that apparently lifts the lower jawline skin back, and does it work? Holy cow that was a lot, sorry and thank you for your time!!

first of all, i think fat always looks the best overall. however, fat is not safe in two categories: someone young like yourself (although i have done it very selectively in someone under 30 with conservative volumes) and in someone with fluctuating weight (this is particularly dangerous since the fat is truly a real graft and can fluctuate with weight). however, fat does not fix folds and lips well where fillers work better. in the forehead i do not use any fat or fillers because that area is unsafe to fill. it won't look smooth. as far as using botox to lift jawlines, etc., that seems to be a way expensive way to manage a situation since botox is short lived. i use botox to manage bad habits and entrenched wrinkles for long-term healing. that makes sense to me. what you are proposing sounds like an expensive, short-lived fix that is more of a marketing gimmick for a problem that you don't even have (you do not have jawline sagging at 25 even if you pull back on your face and like that look since it is stretching skin out and makes you think you look better.) in short, safety before quality is what i always say so fillers would be the safest option for you done by an experienced injector with a good artistic eye.

thanks for the prompt reply, i am worried about fat too bc my weight still fluctuates and its the first place i do put on weight..i guess im just concerned bc i already have 1.5 cc of perlane on each side of my cheeks to create an "apple" cheek, however i feel i look like a chipmunck and have too much profection in the front without addressing the flatness on my upper cheek and makes my nose look bigger ..the doctor who did my cheeks said thats the only way i can have my filler bc my cheeks have become so deflated and wide and hang forward when i look down, that if he injected it elsewhere, my face would "balloon" out..does this make any sense? and is there any way around this..is it possible to send a picture as i struggle to articulate what i mean?

i have no idea where he put it but your lower cheek looks quite full. you could benefit from filler closer to your eyes and farther out but again i would have to see you decide.

he injected it in 2 areas: one right below my eyes, and then slightly below that on either side of my nose without fanning or feathering, just 2 big lumps..i feel this makes me looks "poofy" and also gives my eyes a very rounded look. Basically i want the product to look blended outward from my face and be cohesive with the rest of my features. I also want some in my chin area and temples to even out face if possible...as i live in Canada, i am wondering if i visit u can u inject hyalaronodaise(spelling?) to take out product and then start fresh in one trip spread over a couple of days, or do u recommend me come in for a consult, and break it down into seperate trips?

you might want to find someone local to do it for you since hyaluronidase and injection would be separate visits. there probably is someone that can help you at least with the dissolve if you want me to help but it sounds as if technically what you are describing the doctor put it in the right area. all of this of course is very hard to communicate without my seeing you in person. i just don't want your expense to be very high and my not being able to deliver for you.

i believe you can use different methods, like pills, to lose weight but it is important that those methods are part of a larger commitment to change otherwise you will regain the weight.
