LAM FACIAL PLASTICS

Hi doctor lam, i recently did a chin implant and my face looks long. It's been about a month now.
Before the surgery i specified that i did not want a long face when the doctor asked. Now, my face is rather long. When i sent an email to my doctor telling him that my face is long and is this my final result. He replied "For the first 6 months after surgery, your face will feel long. Then it settles down." Do you know what he meant by "settle down"? And will my face look less "long".

i do not like to respond to a patient of another surgeon's during the early phase of recovery. it is not fair to you, your physician, or to me. you really need to ask your doctor any pertinent questions. sorry about that.
