Over the past two years, I have had two treatments of radiesse to plump up my cheeks. I am in my early 30s so I did this only to have greater definition of my cheek apples. Does this procedure strech the skin so that it could potentially sag and get lines/wrinkles at a faster pace?
most likely not. it should not have those adverse long-term issues you are talking about. however, repeated radiesse under the skin can become progressively thicker and i found it to create almost like a cement type feeling after repeated injections. that is why i stopped using it. i think it is a good product nevertheless but did not like the long-term downside of that firmness.

Thank you for this response. Interesting about the cement-like feel after awhile. Something I am definitely going to take into consideration going forward. You said “most likely not” but not a definite "no”—do you know if researchers or PS doctors have done any follow up on people’s skin receiving “cheek fillers”? I am surprised I never thought about it till now but I am sure others have probably questioned the long-term affects because it is pulling the skin up. Or to feel more comfortable that I have NOT sped up the aging process of my skin, is there anything I can do as cautionary preventative?”
you have not hurt your skin with fillers. fillers do not lift. they fill. watch this video to understand my philosophy: http://www.lamfacialplastics.com/galler ... +Lift.html the things to make your skin look better are as follows: botox to soften wrinkles and reverse collagen damage (check out my videos on botox: http://www.lamfacialplastics.com/galler ... Tutorials/), sun avoidance, diet, exercise, meditation, stress reduction, hydration, and good skin care products. we have great products on our website www.skinwb.com and knowledgeable people that can help you. best, sml
