filler for scooped out bridge

Postby kfearn15 » Sat Jul 03, 2010 10:22 am

hi there dr lam, i recenly had a rhinoplasty 3rd time and i feel that the bridge is quite scooped, i just look really tired looking and washed out from the front.my nose has no definitiion. there is no way i can go through another surgery so what i was wondering was can a filler help a scooped out bridge? how long do you have to wait until you would get the filler after a rhinoplasty ? i had a closed operation- tip lifted, spreader grafts put in and a lot of my swelling is gone, im 3 weeks post op and although people say its early days i can see that the bridge is scooped. my mum agrees also. would the filler affect the spreader grafts. im from the uk, hope you can get back soon

given that this is your third time there is probably still a lot of swelling. i would personally wait at least 3 months but would prefer 6 months. silicone is the way that i would do it but i would have to review your case to truly make the call.
best,
