botox in jaw

Postby bba237 » Tue Jun 29, 2010 8:30 am

Hi Dr. Lam,
I am Korean with somewhat of a slim face, but my jaw is a bit overdeveloped which causes a hollow looking area in my cheek, and a more square looking face. I would love to see you for a consultation. I am a flight attendant and could potentially visit on a trip if your office is relatively close to the airport. I am curious if you would use botox, or dysport. Would one be more effective than the other, and do you think it is more aesthetically pleasing to fill in the hollows underneath a cheekbone. Some models like Iman, have this hollow that gives a somewhat slim look, but to me it looks a bit severe. What do you think? Also do you ever give an estimated cost for the botox procedure in jaw? Do you charge by the unit of botox, or charge for the area that you are treating. Thanks for your time Dr. Lam.

hi,
1. i am about 25 minutes from the airport and right off two major highways.
2. as far as the gauntness, i typically don't like that look. i like a gentler transition from the cheek bone downward. not so much that the cheek looks round just less gaunt. but i have to see the person to decide.
3. i charge for the procedure rather than for units since with the high dosage i use you can have uneven results but i really have not seen that now for years because of the accuracy of my placement. everything is caliper measured. for a price, just contact one of my staff: marcy@lamfacialplastics.com.
