Hi dr. lam, I want to have my top lip slightly reduce and the ear keloids removed from my earlobe. My bottom lip is scared from pulling dry skin off my lip. Is there anyway that could be fixed? I have two big pink spot on my bottom lip. I'm not asking you to give me the exact price but if you could give me an estimate of what the price will be. The keloids that's on my ear is about the size of a pinto bean. I got them from ear piercing after the age of nine years old. I had surgery twice when I was younger. Now that I'm an adult, i want to have it done right. I want to have this procedure done by february or march 2011.

not too certain about the lip pulling thing causing dryness but if it is in the target zone for removal, i.e., in the area that i would remove, then it will probably help you in that situation. with ear keloids, i have stopped removing them without radiation. i have found the failure rate just too high. in order to remove keloids you would have to time the radiation to start within 24 hours of my excision. cost wise i would have to see your situation to estimate it all. also, if you don't live in dallas, then i would probably recommend having someone do it for you back home with timed radiation. o/w here in dallas, it is a 5 day stay but must be planned in advance.

Yes Dr. lam I do live in irving. I really want the keloid surgery done. I had them remove when I was 12 and 15. They came back both times because I was to scared to get those steroids injections. My mom took me once and that was it. I had laser surgery but it didn't work. I am so ready to have this done again. I am so tired of wearing my hair over my ears. I would love to have a short hair do for a change. I want to have this done the beginning of next year. Last year you was book. I don't want to miss it this time.
