Hi Dr. Lam. I am very impressed with your work. It is obvious to me that you are very passionate and talented at what you do. I had an otoplasty about 6 years ago and the top part of my ear is starting to fold down giving me a lop ear. I want to get an otoplasty revision and make both ears look symmetrical, natural and not plastered against my head, and correcting the existing problems. I attached a couple of pictures that show the deformity and would love your opinion if this is easily corrected and something that you feel confident you could fix for me. thank you for your time and all that you do.

so your ear is starting to fold down 6 years later? that is very odd. typically, if the ear is going to relax it will do so within the first year. if it is relaxing back that late, that is something that may happen again since it is so unusual. o/w i think i can help you. of course, i would need to see you in person to be certain. best, sml

The ears did start to fold down during the first year, sorry for the miscommunication. I will make an appointment with your office to see you regarding this issue. I live in southern california but will make the trip if you feel that this is a situation that you feel confident in correcting.
in that case, i feel that i can most likely help you. best, sml
