LAM FACIAL PLASTICS

Hi doctor,

I had subcision that left behind lumps or bumps. It is pretty small in diameter and looks like a small to medium sized zit. Will this go away completely in time? If so, how long would it take?

hmmm, that should go away i would assume. however, if it is scar tissue, then sometimes 5-FU injection can reduce the bump. it really depends what it is. it could be lymphatic obstruction where it just looks swollen. obviously, if it does not go away after a certain time (hard to say maybe a few weeks to months) consider a 5-FU injection if your doctor believes that is the right course of action. remember i cannot give direct advice just offer general principles.
