Dr. Lam,
If you could read this and try to assess it and give me an honest opinion it would mean the world. I had an otoplasty done March of this year. Something Ive wanted for a VERY long time. It has been a couple months since then, after the surgery i was very pleased with the results. It seemed like everything went extremely well. My doctor kept saying it will take awhile for the swelling to go down and it did. I still do not have much sensation in my ears. Anyways, about a couple weeks ago I have literally watched my ears retract back to what i started with slowly more and more as time has gone on. Im very upset about it. My surgeon said that my left ear was out a bit further than my right so he had to do more work to it. That ear has held up the most between the two but i have a deep scar from where he made incisions thats actually on the front of my ear? Everything was done behind it so I dont understand how a scab and now scar ended up in front. I catch people staring at it all the time when their talking to me because its that up front.
