Leaning Mouth

Postby Sashak » Sun May 30, 2010 2:36 am

I PMed you my picture. You can see in the picture that my mouth leans to one side. Would a minor bottom lip reduction on the "leaning" side correct this? If not, what do you suggest?

Thanks for your input Dr. Lam.

Also, would wearing metal braces, invisilign or a retainer hinder a lip reduction or chin implant?

i replied to your PM. here was my response:

i always say that symmetry is difficult if not entirely impossible to fix. however, i have done this for asymmetries and gotten pretty good results. here is an example of an upper lip reduction for asymmetry and size:

here is one of mine for a lower lip asymmetry issue and size:

obviously, i can reduce less if you principally are just focused on asymmetry. if you are interested in proceeding, please call on tuesday 888-866-3388. hope that helps as a start. let me know if you have more questions.
best,
sml

p.s.: in answer to your second question- no braces, etc. will not have any issues for the work.
