Asian blepharoplasty question.

Postby prerequisite » Fri May 28, 2010 9:30 am

Hey Dr.Lam!

I feel kind of stupid asking this but...While looking around your site, i was left in the dark trying to figure out how much you charge for the operation.

I've sent an email but haven't got a reply yet. May i ask how much does the asian eyelid surgery procedure cost? And if you have any extra payment options available.

Gracias! - June

hi Dr lam. i just had my suture eyelid surgery last year. im happy with it for the first 6 month because the result is great. i had my eyelid surgery because my lids droop and my facial expression is sad even though im not. after i had that surgery i feel that my eyes can be opened more properly . 1 year have passed and my upper eyelids tend to be droop and cover the eyelids that are fold. it seems that the eyelids are not permanent at all and i feel that it will return to be as before the surgery. the surgeon said that suture technique is not long lasting but incision technique can be permanent. so i decided to do incision next year but im afraid that even incision technique will not last long. so i wanna ask DrLam whether incision technique can provide me a permanent double eye lids like Jackie Chan have it now ^^

yes, this is why i stopped doing suture techniques. they fail all the time. a full incision technique is ideal to have a permanent result. there is still a chance of fold loss but it is probably less than 1%.
