After getting otoplasty playing sports is still safe right? I think i have the cuff ear. i put pictures below! im sure im a good candidate. thanks for your time

yes, it appears to be a cup deformity almost exclusively. the problem with sports is that i am always worried that things will tear up. i honestly would be out of sports for at least 6 months if it is contact. we could go as low as 3 months depending on the sport but nothing earlier. what kind of sports are we talking about? best, sml

i would say 3 months if it was something you had to do. 6 months if not. if 3 months, then you must wear a head band during play. best, sml
