Subcision After Silicone Injections

Postby clsm » Sat Mar 27, 2010 10:23 pm

Hello Dr. Lam, Is it okay to have subcision done AFTER having silicone injections a month prior? Also would it be okay to have restylane injected at the time of the subcision?
Thanks
clsm

i cannot give advice to someone who had silicone done elsewhere. however, if you are my patient, i personally would wait 3 months. the silicone has ongoing positive effects on the skin albeit slight up to 90 some days out. i would prefer not for one to subcise that early after silicone injection personally speaking.
best,
