droopy eyelids

Postby vietportland1 » Fri Feb 19, 2010 8:34 pm

Hi Dr. Lam,

My eyes always feel tired and heavy. People always asked me "if I am ok or am I doing ok" because I believe my eyes look tired and droopy.

In order for me to look happy, I have to try and open my eyes very wide, however when I just look normal, I my eyes look droopy and tired.

Can you help?

P.S. What can I do to improve my acne scar?
Here are some video and pictures.

Please help.

I have already set up a consultation on march 3 over the phone with you, however I am anxious to know what can be done to improve my quality of eyes and life.

Thank You

so sorry that i missed your question on here. i typically respond very quickly. you appear to have some kind of congenital ptosis on the left, meaning that your muscle was probably born weaker. in that regard, i would advise your seeking out an oculoplastic surgeon who can shorten the muscle (if that is the case) in addition to doing a more formal double eyelid. in short, i do not think i can help you with your situation. sorry.
best,
sml
