Scar revision in Indian skin

Postby 2hands » Thu Feb 04, 2010 9:38 pm

Hello Dr. Lam

I had 2 questions:

One, do you think it is possible to improve the appearance of this scar? I took a picture of it, but it isn't the best quality:

Image

It began as a pimple, which I prematurely skinned the top part off. A scab form...which I once again messed up by picking at it. I didn't have stitches, and this scar most likely formed because I picked the scab. This happened in the summer of 2007. When I wake up in the morning or basically anytime I look in the mirror, after having laid down (blood rushes to the face), the scar is not as noticeable. It 'fills' in more and blends in better.

Under perfect ideal conditions, I'd love to just excise it, and hopefully be left with a thin almost invisible scar. Probably not possible, but I can dream right? :P

Also, is it possible to have 'DPN's at age 25? I have noticed a lot of new moles recently. I'd like them removed, but I'm worried about scarring.

Thank you.
