why relatively less fat accumulates in liposuctioned areas after significant weight gain than non liposuctioned areas...is this because that there are less stem cells in those parts?

i think our body has a certain # of fat cells after puberty that only grow in size. once they are gone, they are gone. so when we gain weight we gain it elsewhere since there is a physical reduction in # of fat cells.
